Considered as one of the most influential leaders of the world, the Pope calls our attention towards environment and climate change in a 192-page paper released 24th of May, 2015.

“The Earth, our home, is beginning to look more and more like an immense pile of filth. In many parts of the planet, the elderly lament that once beautiful landscapes are now covered with rubbish.”

“The exploitation of the planet has already exceeded acceptable limits…”

“We need to strengthen the conviction that we are one single human family.”

~ Lines from Encyclical Letter Laudato Si’ of the Holy Father Francis on Care for Our Common Home, 2015

As a response to this call, the Diocese of Bacolod Social Action Center together with various communities, NGOs and institutions, invites you to join the symbolic People’s Walk for Environment this upcoming Nov. 28-29, 2015.
